Primroses
Traditionally seen as spring plants we now offer a range of primroses in colour starting
from early autumn. We grow a range of types including those with the traditional
primrose range of colours, some delightful 'pastel' colours, those with more unusual bicolour flowers and a growing
number of semi-double varieties.
Our range includes some extra tough varieties which are hardy enough to survive the coldest winter weather. These are available in bedding 6-packs at a budget price.
People ask us "what is the difference between a polyanthus and a primrose?" A polyanthus
has a single stem rising from the centre of the plant with a head of flowers at the
top. A primrose has all it's flowers on short stems rising from the middle of the plant.
