Everyone associates hanging baskets with the summer but most ignore them in the winter. This is a great shame. At a time when much of the garden looks barren a basket, and perhaps, a planter or two will do a lot to add some cheerful colour.

And the cooler weather over winter means you won't need to water them nearly as often. We plant up our winter baskets with the same skill and care as our summer ones, including the addition of slow release fertilizer to every one, to give you long lasting winter colour.

The plants we put in our baskets and planters include pansies, violas, polyanthus, primroses, autumn patio plants, cyclamen, conifers, heathers and evergreen shrubs. We also use spring flowering bulbs in some.
